Some Precautions About Using Ghee

  • Never consume a glass of cold water after consuming ghee or any dish containing ghee.
  •  Ghee and curd shouldn’t be eaten together. 
  • If ghee is applied to roti the do not consume curd with it.
  • Ghee should not be taken fried. Do not eat puris fried in ghee. You have to consume raw ghee. 
  • Avoid Ghee in case of liver problems like jaundice and fatty liver.
  • Take Ghee in a small amount if you have an excess cough and cold. This is because ghee has cold potency.
  • Take Ghee in the recommended dose and duration when used as a medicine, a high dose can lead to vomiting and loose motion.
  •  Use Ghee in small quantities or on alternative days if your skin is too oily.
  • Use Ghee after diluting with coconut oil before applying to hair.
